For our youth group volunteers' Christmas party this weekend, I made these super easy appetizers and I guess they were a hit. One of the guys referred to them as "meat candy." I guess what's not to like - bacon...good...brown sugar...good...crackers...good... And you can make them ahead of time and freeze them. I LOVE things I can freeze and use later!
But what I really love is the name of the recipe: Flashback: 1981 - Holiday Bacon Appetizers. I guess that was a good year - yummy food and I was born :)

UPDATE: I did use brown sugar instead of Parmesan cheese. PW has this variation listed on the printable recipe but not on the main recipe page - thanks Mindee!
Wah! They were all gone by the time I got to the food. I really wanted to try one too!
